FISSION URANIUM CORP . (TSX: FCU) (OTCQX: FCUUF) (” Fission ” or the ” Company “) announced today that the hearing for the final order (the ” Final Order “) approving the previously announced plan of arrangement (the ” Arrangement “) with Paladin Energy Limited (” Paladin “) began before the Supreme Court of British Columbia on September 13, 2024 and will continue on September 26, 2024 .
CGN Mining Company Limited (” CGN “), a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corp., is opposing the Final Order and approval of the Arrangement. To the knowledge of the Company, CGN holds a disclosed equity interest of approximately 11.26% of the outstanding common shares of the Company. Fission’s shareholders voted in favour of the Arrangement at the Company’s special meeting held on September 9, 2024 .
